Why I write here

Way too many opinions about software stay invisible inside private Slack threads and code review comments. They deserve a public, permanent address. This blog is that address: my opinions on building software, running it in production, and the trade-offs I stand behind.

I've spent my career shipping software and forming strong views along the way — about what makes code worth maintaining, what makes teams productive, and which industry habits deserve to die. Most of those views only ever reached the people in the room. Writing them here means they can be found, argued with, and referenced.
